Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026.

Buckeye Forestry LLC buys standing timber and timberland from landowners in Ohio and northern West Virginia. This page explains what information this website collects and what we do with it. The short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to get back to you about your timber, and we never sell it.

What we collect

Contact form. When you send a request through our contact form, we receive what you type: your name, phone number, email address, county, approximate acreage, and your message. We use it for one purpose, which is to contact you about your timber.

Calls and texts. If you call or text us, your number shows up on our phones like any other call. We may keep it so we can call you back.

Technical information. Like every website, the companies that host and protect this site keep basic server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. Those logs exist to keep the site running and secure.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. This site has no advertising and no tracking cookies. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, keeps anonymous visit and performance statistics that do not use cookies and do not identify you. There are no user accounts, comments, or newsletters.

Where your information goes

Form submissions are stored on this website’s server and emailed to us through our email delivery provider. The site is hosted in the United States and sits behind Cloudflare, which handles traffic to the site to keep it fast and secure. Those providers process your information only to deliver the service.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to follow up on your request and to keep our business records. If you would like your information deleted, call or email us and we will take care of it.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the phone number or email address below.

Children

This site is for landowners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
